About Our Exhibitions
Our museum's main purpose is to create a lasting visual memory of Turkish photography. We have set off on our journey with both permanent and temporary five exhibitions. Undoubtedly, one of the most important duties a photography museum can have is to bring together, protect and promote the classics of the art of photography. That is the reason why, whilst our museum was being envisaged, one of its five galleries was set aside to be dedicated solely for our permanent İz Bırakanlar (Masters of Turkish Photography) exhibition. The rest of the galleries will host periodic exhibitions containing fine examples of Turkish and worldwide photography.
